If anything above 480p is HD then Europe have been viewing HD for years as the standard here is 576. My understanding is that anythin 720 and over is high definition and anyhting in between is ED (extended definition)
Didn't like the demo one bit, I don't think this games is gonna get very high scores in reviews, probably 6-7s
Yeah it would be awesome but obviously the disagreers think it would be rubbish if it happened. lol
Crysis on Ps3 with mods would be good.
Hows that proof? People are gonna call BS unless u provide a source. Would be cool though.
Sounds good as a "Show-off" feature, I doubt I'd use it in the long term.
Can't wait for some of the games this year! Little big planet and GT5 Prologue have got me most excited. Never played a final fantasy or metal gear solid before so will definately try them out (Although I doubt FF will be out in Europe this year)
That makes the final weekly figures:
DS: 388,049
Wii: 224,017
PSP: 207,156
PS3: 145,707
Xbox 360: 132,996
Whats the point in this product?!? PSP is much better.
Apart from a couple of the multiplatform titles there's no games there that interest me.
"Life is full, full of surprises"
Because there is only 2 IPTV providers in the UK and neither of them do live tv through IPTV. BT relies on Freeview and Virgin rely on cable.
This is going to be perfect for travelling to cities in different countries, no need for finding someone who can speak english to give you directions to places. Could of done with this in Barcelona last year.
Seems like Spain is becoming the biggest market for console sales in the EU. For the past two weeks it has sold more consoles than any other EU country, its probably due to the high sales of the PS3 there (46,298) its outselling the Wii 2:1 and the Xbox 10:1.
LOL why would the UK not be considered to be in the EU?!?! I've lived in England my whole life and i consider myself to live in the EU.
Staying HD-DVD but not announcing any new titles?! surely Toshiba have got to get onto Paramount to release every film they ever made in HD to make up for amount of titles Bluray will have.
I never bought a UMD movie untill recently as I've got the new PSP with TV-Out and places like Gamestation in the UK are selling them dirt cheap as no one buys them, I suspect this is something HD-DVD player owners have to look forward to, clearance prices on HD-DVD movies. Still cool about the copying to PSP from Bluray, hopefully they implement this as soon as possible.
Seems more and more like Paramount are going to change to Bluray everyday. The financial times is one of the most respected buisness newspapers in the world and they don't just print rumours made up off the top of there heads.
Sky's content and price is far better than BT's IPTV service, and the picture quality isn't as good as freeview.
People who like to watch/buy the highest quality version of a movie they like care. There were people on both sides that wanted atleast one of the others exclusive movies so of course they cared if their format won or not.
